Once participants are accepted we will choose the opera from the standard Italian repertoire. The production will be designed to give the participants the best performance experience possible. In addition, opera scenes/concert selections will be offered.

Offers will be extended by March 1, 2008 and must be accepted or declined by March 15, 2008. You non-refundable deposit for the Professional Advantage is due, payable to Scuola Italia no later than March 31, 2008.  Please see below.

     
     
 
COSTS
Tuition for the three week program, including all language and musical instruction, and special excursion is Euro 2,500. (Link to the Scuola's payment information page) A nonrefundable deposit must be paid to Scuola Italia by March 31, 2008. (see REGISTRATION METHOD below)

The balance of the program fee is due the first day of the program, June 16, payable by cash, bank draft, wire transfer or credit card. Please read these instructions carefully on the Scuola Italia site.

In addition, participants will pay for their accommodations and travel. (Link to Scuola accommodations page) Choice of accommodations include private apartment with bath and kitchen, shared accommodations, and bed-and-breakfast.  Those wanting a more intimate experience with the culture, there is the option of half and full pension with local families.  Travel costs to and from Piobbico are also the responsibility of the participant. 

REGISTRATION METHOD
Send a non-refundable deposit of € 300 by March 31, 2008. This payment can be made by Certified International Money Order (cheap and quick), made out to and sent to: Scuola Italia, Via Garibaldi 11, - 61049 Urbania (PU) - Italy, enclosed with the registration form (link to registration form), by credit card, or by direct bank credit transfer to:

Please include the name of the student (your name) as a reference. Bring a copy of your receipt with you to the school.

Once the deposit has been received, the school will send you confirmation of registration including the name and the address of your host family or apartment owner. To help us accommodate your needs, please send the registration form as soon as possible (at least 30 days before the course starting date).  The remainder of the fees shall be paid the school secretariat on then first day of the course.

Fees will not be reimbursed to students who cancel a course or who withdraw early. However, in such circumstances, students will be allowed to attend on another occasion, or transfer this right to a third party of their choosing.
